I learned that an aptamer is a sequence of nucleotides that can bind to a specific target. This stream is similar to the VDS stream in that we both are interested in the binding of a specific target. Only difference is that we use chemicals from a chemical library. It was impressive knowing that freshmen were able to complete complex research on nucleic acids.
